Project wins new NERC grant to study responses to climate change

Loeske Kruuk and colleagues have been awarded a NERC grant to study the responses of the Rum red deer study population to climate change. The new study aims to: characterise broad-scale associations between climate, vegetation and deer traits; dissect the relative contributions of changes in population structure, plasticity and micro-evolution to temporal trends in phenotypic traits; and predict the effects of continued climate change on future population and trait dynamics
